HJT-Holz Automates Eco-friendly-Sticking And Stacking-process

Table of Contents

HJT-Holz is taking a major step forward in production and sustainability with the installation of a fully automated stickering line. This new system enhances production efficiency, reduces manual labor, and supports our strategic growth plans, as we expand our capacity and embrace renewable energy to drive thermally modified wood production.

1. Automation and Efficiency at the Core

The new sticking and stacking line processes 144 boards and 90 stickers per minute, delivering a capacity of 350 m³ per shift. By automating key stages of production, we have streamlined operations, eliminated bottlenecks, and increased precision and consistency.

Additionally, the new system allows us to custom-sort products to meet specific customer requirements, ensuring we deliver the exact quality and specifications our clients demand.

From preparing wood for thermal treatment to packaging the final product, every phase is optimized for speed, accuracy, and tailored quality control.

2. Expansion of Thermal Treatment Capacity

As part of our commitment to growth, HJT-Holz is also expanding its thermal treatment capacity. This expansion will allow us to meet rising demand for thermally modified wood, ensuring we continue to deliver high-quality products on a larger scale. Our goal is to increase production capacity from 40,000 m³ to 65,000 m³, supporting both our existing customers and new market opportunities.

3. Embracing Green Energy

In addition to enhancing production, HJT-Holz is implementing a green electricity solution to power our thermal treatment process. This sustainable energy source will enable us to cover up to 92% of the energy required for the process, significantly reducing our carbon footprint and reinforcing our commitment to environmental responsibility. By investing in green energy, we are aligning our production with modern sustainability standards, ensuring that our growth is as eco-friendly as it is efficient. Our goal is to transition to renewable energy sources by 2030, further strengthening our position in sustainable wood production.

4. Building the Future of Sustainable Wood Production

Our new sticking line and green energy initiative reflect HJT-Holz’s dedication to innovation, growth, and sustainability. With these advancements, we are well-positioned to meet both the growing market demand and the increasing expectations for environmentally responsible production. At HJT-Holz, we believe that the future of wood production lies in the combination of cutting-edge technology and sustainable practices.
