ThermoFraké is a thermally modified hardwood, valued for its durability, stability, and striking aesthetics. Originating from African forests, Fraké wood undergoes a chemical-free heat treatment at around 200°C, which enhances its resistance to decay, insects, and fungi. This process also deepens the wood’s color to a rich brown, while accentuating its unique grain patterns. ThermoFraké is highly dimensionally stable, meaning it resists warping and shrinking, making it perfect for exterior applications like cladding and decking, as well as interior design projects that require both beauty and longevity.
